2026 Dali Xiaohe Tangshui Half Marathon（2026大理小河淌水半程马拉松）

Wutai Temple is located in Dasi Village, Wutai Village Committee, Juli Town, Midu County, Dali Prefecture, Yunnan Province. It was first built in the Ming dynasty, repaired and expanded during the Yongzheng, Daoguang and Guangxu reigns of the Qing, and rebuilt in the early years of the Republic of China. It faces east and sits west, with a layout symmetrical about a horizontal axis, covering an area of 4,364.72 square metres with a built area of 1,915 square metres. Surviving ancient buildings include the Guanyin Pavilion with its two side rooms, the Mahavira Hall, the Wangmu Pavilion with its two side rooms, the Laojun Hall, the Confucius Hall, the Nanxin Hall and the east, middle and west wing rooms on the north and south sides of the main courtyard, commonly known as the 'three pavilions and five halls'. In Wutai Temple the Confucius Hall, the Mahavira Hall and the Laojun Hall and other buildings coexist, reflecting the local multi-cultural worship in which Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism live in harmony. It is the largest group of ancient buildings surviving in Midu County, its main structures largely retaining their historic fabric, and it has pronounced local and ethnic minority characteristics. On 21 February 2019 it was announced as a cultural relic protection unit of the eighth batch of Yunnan Province. On 7 October 2019 it was announced as a Major Historical and Cultural Site Protected at the National Level of the eighth batch. On the fifteenth day of the second lunar month each year, Wutai Temple holds the Wutai Shan antiphonal singing fair.<
