2026 Huairou Changcheng Zhayede & Charity Run Marathon（2026怀柔长城马拉松暨扎耶德慈善跑）

Beitai Shang Reservoir, also known as Yanqi Lake, is a reservoir at Beitaishang Village in the north of Huairou District, Beijing. It impounds the Yanqi River and was completed between 1959 and 1962. The reservoir covers 4.6 square kilometres, with a perennial water surface of 1.8 million square metres and a total capacity of 38.3 million cubic metres. Its depth is 22 to 30 metres. It controls a catchment area of 102.2 square kilometres. It has 1 main dam, 5 larger auxiliary dams, 1 spillway and 1 outlet tunnel. The main dam is 31 metres high with a crest 483 metres long, and the maximum impounded area is 2.0 square kilometres. It supplies 20 million cubic metres of water a year.

Hongluo Temple is on the southern slopes of Mount Hongluo, 4 kilometres north of the seat of Huairou District, Beijing. It is a Chinese Buddhist monastery and a Buddhist holy site in northern China.
