Middle Gap is one of the mountain passes of Hong Kong, located in the central part of Hong Kong Island between Mount Cameron and Mount Nicholson, with Wan Chai Gap to the west and Wong Nai Chung Gap to the east, at an altitude of 280 metres. Beneath the pass run the Nam Fung Tunnel and the Aberdeen Tunnel. It is worth noting that Middle Gap Road itself does not lead directly to Middle Gap; the true location of Middle Gap is reached by a dirt path from the eastern end of a branch of Middle Gap Road (where the Middle Gap Viewing Point stands) to the junction with Black's Link.

Mount Cameron, originally named Fei Ngo Leng, is a mountain in the central part of Hong Kong Island, about 439 metres high, situated to the south of and above the area between Wan Chai and Admiralty. Its summit and southern slopes lie within Aberdeen Country Park, near Wan Chai Gap, and Mount Cameron Road and Middle Gap Road run along its south-western hillside. The paths on Mount Cameron are rugged and precipitous, with steep steps; the summit is desolate and covered with igneous rock. Mount Cameron is named after Major-General Cameron, Commander of the British Forces in Hong Kong and Acting Governor of Hong Kong.

Mount Parker is a mountain in the east of Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. It is named after Baron William Parker, an admiral of the Royal Navy. It has an elevation of 532 metres and is the highest mountain in the Eastern District of Hong Kong Island and the second highest peak on Hong Kong Island.

Aberdeen Country Park is located on the south end of Hong Kong Island near the area called Aberdeen, Hong Kong. Much of the south side of the island is underdeveloped and retains more of the rural feel that predominated on the island before it was settled by the British. The park extends to Wan Chai Gap on the north. The 4.23 square kilometre country park opened in 1931. Like other country parks of Hong Kong, Aberdeen is based on land surrounding reservoirs, in this case the Upper and Lower Reservoirs. The reservoirs were completed in 1932. Designated on 28 October 1977, Aberdeen Country Park is one of the oldest country parks in Hong Kong. The scenery of the park can be appreciated from Peak Road and Guildford Road.
