2026 Jiaxing Marathon（2026嘉兴马拉松）

South Lake, formerly known as Yuanyang Lake and for short Yuan Lake, and also called Machang Lake or Biaohu, is located south of Jiaxing city, Zhejiang Province, with a water area of about 416,000 square metres and a depth of about 2 to 5 metres. Together with Xuanwu Lake in Nanjing and West Lake in Hangzhou it is known as one of the three great famous lakes of Jiangnan. In the lake there is a small island, on which stands Yanyu Tower, an excellent place from which to view the lake.

Juehai Temple is a Buddhist temple at 435 Xiexi Street (formerly Baozhongdai), Nanhu District, Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, China. It belongs to the Linji school and began as the Daoist Baozhong Temple, built in the ninth year of the Chunyou era of the Southern Song dynasty (1249) when Zhao Rupai, a court official of the rank of chaosan dafu, donated his residence. In the twenty-fourth year of the Zhizheng era of the Yuan dynasty (1364) it was changed into the Buddhist Baozhong Temple; it was rebuilt in the fifteenth year of the Yongle era of the Ming dynasty (1417), and in the eleventh year of the Yongzheng era of the Qing dynasty (1733) it was renamed by imperial order to its present name and rebuilt. In the Xianfeng period the main hall and the side rooms were destroyed in war, and they were rebuilt in the Tongzhi period.

Jiaxing (simplified Chinese: 嘉兴; traditional Chinese: 嘉興; pinyin: Jiāxīng; Wade–Giles: Chia-hsing), alternately romanized as Kashing, is a prefecture-level city in northern Zhejiang province, China. Lying on the Grand Canal of China, Jiaxing borders Hangzhou to the southwest, Huzhou to the west, Shanghai to the northeast, and the province of Jiangsu to the north. As of the 2020 census, its population was 5,400,868 and its built-up (or metro) area, made up of 2 urban districts was home to 1,518,654 inhabitants.

Jiaxing Zicheng, also known as the Zi Wall, lies in the city centre of Nanhu District, Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, China. It runs north to south from Fuqian Street to Zhongshan East Road and east to west from Jianguo South Road to Ziyang Street, covering 75,000 square metres.
