Yangtai Mountain is in the Sujiatuo area (formerly part of Bei'anhe Township) in the north-west of Haidian District, adjoining Jiufeng, Miaofeng Mountain and Fenghuangling. Its main peak is 1,276 metres high and is the highest point in Haidian District. On the summit there is a classic marker, a mani pile. At the foot of the mountain is the Beijia Garden, a red education base themed on the French doctor Jean-Augustin Bussiere.

The Dajue Temple (simplified Chinese: 大觉寺; traditional Chinese: 大覺寺; pinyin: Dàjué Sì; lit. 'Great Awakening Temple/Temple of Enlightenment') is a Buddhist temple located in the Haidian District of western Beijing, China. It was founded in the 11th century, and the current temple dates to a reconstruction in the 15th century during the Ming Dynasty. It contains three main halls, a gate, a pagoda and various side halls.

Longquan Temple is on the eastern slopes of Fenghuangling in Haidian District, Beijing. It is a Chinese Buddhist monastery.

Beijing Jiufeng National Forest Park is a national forest park in Haidian District, Beijing, People's Republic of China. It is a scenic area established on the basis of the experimental forest farm of Beijing Forestry University, and is at the same time a comprehensive experimental forest farm combining teaching practice, scientific research, science popularisation and tourism.
