Big Rock Trail Race（Big Rock山徑賽）

Smuggler's Ridge, 337 metres above sea level, is a mountain in the central New Territories of Hong Kong, located north of Kam Shan and west of Ma Chi Au. Smuggler's Ridge originally referred to the trail running along the ridge of the hill, which later became the name of the hill itself. On its hillside are On Yam Estate and Shek Kwu House of Shek Lei (II) Estate, completed in 1988.

Kowloon Pass is a mountain pass in Hong Kong, in the north of the Kowloon Peninsula between Beacon Hill and Lion Rock, connecting New Kowloon with the New Territories. To the south of Kowloon Pass is Kowloon Tong, and to the north is Keng Hau in Sha Tin District. In an age when transport was not yet developed, Kowloon Pass and Sha Tin Pass to its east were both important routes between Kowloon and Sha Tin. Today the Lion Rock Tunnel passes beneath the hill.

Shing Mun Country Park was designated on 24 June 1977 and is a country park in Hong Kong covering 1,400 hectares. The park runs from Lead Mine Pass in the north (in Tai Po District) to Shing Mun Reservoir Road in the south, and from Tai Mo Shan in the west to Grassy Hill, Needle Hill and Lower Shing Mun Reservoir in the east (in Sha Tin District). Shing Mun Reservoir, on the south-eastern slopes of Tai Mo Shan, lies within the country park; ringed by hills and with fine scenery, it has long been a popular outing spot.

The Kowloon Reservoir Group is a group of reservoirs north of the Kowloon Peninsula in Hong Kong, made up of Kowloon Reservoir, Kowloon Byewash Reservoir, Kowloon Reception Reservoir (De Luo Tong) and Shek Lei Pui Reservoir; together the four reservoirs hold 2.87 million cubic metres of water. It is the exact geographical centre of Hong Kong. The reservoirs lie within Kam Shan Country Park. Although the group is named after Kowloon, under the present district administration all the reservoirs are in the south-western part of Sha Tin District in the New Territories.
