Zhongshan Park (simplified Chinese: 中山公园; traditional Chinese: 中山公園; pinyin: Zhōngshān Gōngyuán; Shanghainese: Tsonsae Konyoe), formerly called Jessfield Park and Zhaofeng Park (Chinese: 兆豐公園), is a park in Changning District, Shanghai, China. The park has a large collection of trees and flowers. People fly kites and play sport games on the large meadow areas.

The Shanghai Confucian Temple, that is the "Shanghai County Confucian Temple" of the Qing dynasty, is the only temple in the urban area of Shanghai dedicated to Confucius. It is in the old city of Shanghai, at 215 Wenmiao Road, Huangpu District.

Xujiahui Observatory, also known as Zikawei Observatory or the Observatory of the Catholic Jiangsu Mission and abbreviated Xu Tai, was a comprehensive observation station once set up in Xujiahui, Shanghai, on the present site of 166 Puxi Road, Xuhui District. Xujiahui Observatory was established in 1872 by the French Catholic Jesuits and housed China's oldest meteorological observation station, claimed as "the foremost meteorological station of the Far East". At its height Xujiahui Observatory oversaw three affiliated stations and combined meteorological, astronomical, geomagnetic and seismic observation, providing public services such as weather forecasting and time signals as well as being active in scientific research. After the outbreak of the Sino-Japanese War, Xujiahui Observatory gradually declined, but its meteorological observations never ceased; it was finally taken over after the end of the Shanghai Campaign and became the predecessor of the Shanghai Meteorological Observatory and the Shanghai Astronomical Observatory. The old buildings of Xujiahui Observatory survive and are listed as a cultural relic protection unit of Shanghai; they now house the Shanghai Meteorological Museum. Xujiahui Observatory was awarded the title of "Centennial Climate Station" for its continuous, uninterrupted observations.<

Wuning Park is a two-star park in Putuo District, Shanghai, China. It is situated in the area enclosed by Wuning Road, Zhongning Road, Jingning Road and Shiquan Road, near Zhongning Road station. Wuning Park has a total green area of about 54,178 square metres and contains plants of the Aceraceae, Rosaceae, Magnoliaceae and Fabaceae families.
